BMW’s E30 series are well sought after by enthusiasts today in recognition of the model’s great strengths. The 6-cylinder 323i is especially admired.
This fine example was delivered new in Perth and purchased five years ago by the current owner. He undertook a massive restoration project with the car, aiming to make it the best possible. The car was stripped and repainted to a high standard. An M-Tec interior was sought (with sports seats, rear headrests, etc) and retrimmed in leather.
The mechanicals of the car were thoroughly gone through with a huge amount of work done – and expense. Engine, diff, cooling system, suspension, brakes, etc, all received attention. Much of the detail is available by email.
A new faster steering system was added, the only modification. New tyres were fitted. The owner has sourced a genuine, correct sound system including speakers, yet to be installed.
A figure approximately double the asking price was spent on this 323i to make it as good as possible.
A few minor cosmetic items remain to be done. The owner has moved premises and has less car spaces, so reluctantly has to let the BMW go. The car is complete with books and tools.
Registered 7DS 803.
