2013 Aston Martin Vanquish

Perth delivered with a multitude of desirable options including a comprehensive carbon fibre pack (roof panel, spoilers, side strakes and more), special interior trim and other options, this beautifully presented supercar was the last of the naturally aspirated V12 Aston Martins.

The car has covered just 51,300km and has full dealer service history, all accessories (charger, extinguisher, first aid kit, Aston Martin umbrella), two sets of keys and full set of books. It’s clearly been a cherished car.

The interior features yellow stitching to the seats and roof lining, Aston Martin embroidered headrests and the optional One-77 steering wheel.

This Aston Martin drives like a dream, easy to use around town, yet with immense performance – and a matching soundtrack – whenever you’re ready. All with striking styling with unmarked metallic black paintwork…

1967 Lotus 7 Series 2 1/2 – SOLD

A really well-sorted Lotus 7 with period correct Ford 1600 GT engine, fully rebuilt. This car has been thoroughly restored by the current owner, with suspension, brakes, engine, gearbox, steering, electrics, etc, all reconditioned for use in motorkhanas. Rollbar, harness points, towing points and new competition tyres on wide Elan wheels all fitted for this purpose.

The car is not registered, but has all documentation and has had engineering advice and inspection in readiness should a new owner wish to register the car. The front wheel/tyre combination is too wide and would have to be addressed. The car runs beautifully on twin Dellorto carburettors.

A rare opportunity to get a genuine Lotus 7, pre-Caterham involvement, suitable for historic or modern motorsport or can easily be registered for road use.

1997 Citroen Xantia Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition SOLD

– 91,000km from new

– 1 previous owner

– Service history

– Special edition equipment

– Best example in Australia

With a smooth 16-valve 2-litre engine and adaptive automatic transmission, this car is loaded with features. Power steering, climate control air conditioning, twin airbags, ABS, front and rear power windows (lesser models had just front), alloy wheels, remote central locking, etc… And of course the supremely comfortable height-adjustable, self-levelling suspension.

Citroen Australia special edition “75th Anniversary” Xantia featured glass sunroof, front foglamps, colour coded bumpers and side protection strips, steering wheel radio controls and rear luggage net.

Delivered new in Sydney, this car remained with its original owner until 2020 when the car was sold to me and brought to Perth. The timing belt was changed by a Citroen specialist in Sydney before the car was shipped. New Michelin tyres were fitted on arrival to Perth to pass registration inspection. New suspension spheres have been fitted last year and the car rides as soft as can be. A more modern sound system with Bluetooth has been fitted.

The original stamped service book is with the car, as well as more recent invoices. The original owner was meticulous with this car, never drove it in the rain and it was a past winner of the NSW Citroen Club Concours. The car has also been shown at car club events since arrival in WA, most recently at the Classic Car Show in March.

The Xantia is known for its reliability. We had one from new for over ten years and not a single thing ever went wrong with it. We’ve only done a few minor things on this car, mostly service items – brake pads, spheres, wiper blades, belt and pulley, a new starter motor and a suspension o-ring. Reliable, economical, spacious and comfortable.

It has covered just 91,000km from new and remains in especially nice condition throughout. The paint gleams, the upholstery is perfect and the car is a pleasure to drive. It’s unlikely there would be a better Xantia Wagon in Australia. Tremendous value at just $9990.

Happy to email you lots more photos on request. My own personal car.

1987 Nissan Be-1 – SOLD

FOR SALE: 1987 Nissan Be-1 – $9990

Automatic. Believed to be one of very few registered in Australia – one other is in a museum.

One of Nissan’s Pike models, only sold in Japan. Demand for these was so high that Nissan created a lottery for buyers to be able to get an allocation of a car.

It uses Micra running gear with a unique body inspired by the Mini and a funky interior.

This car has been in Perth for many years in the hands of enthusiast owners.

Well maintained, it’s proven to be reliable, easy to drive and a conversation starter!

1960 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

A fabulous, stylish car, this Thunderbird Convertible is one of just 11,860 built in 1960. New features were the 3-speed Cruise-o-Matic transmission and 352 V8 engine, producing 300 horsepower. The styling inside is just as dramatic as the exterior. This was the first American car with a centre console.

The powered fully hideaway soft top sits under the reverse-opening bootlid.

Lots has been done on this car in the past 15 years that it’s been in WA, having arrived here from Queensland. The car has twice been displayed at the Aravina Estate Car Gallery and back in 2015, it was the winner of the Convertible class in the huge Big Al’s Poker Run event.

It’s a good looking cruiser, with space for the whole family. A couple of bits could do with tidying up, but the car’s ready to rock and roll.

1955 MG TF 1500 Roadster – SOLD

This is a lovely example of the last of the line traditional MG in the classic style. The car’s body was restored early 2000s and mechanicals done 2007 including full engine rebuild, by a reputable MG specialist, with all documentation on file. This has proven a reliable sports car for its owner.

A lively, fun car to drive, it has soft top and full tonneau, in cloth (not vinyl) plus the desirable option of wire wheels. And it’s in a desirable colour scheme.

An Australian-delivered car, it’s been with the current owner for two decades. It’s not a trailer queen, but in good, sound condition throughout and a joy on the road. 1EUM000 Request an email with detailed description and more photos – paulb@classicrally.com.au

1989 Porsche 944 S2 – SOLD

This smartly presented 944 S2 was delivered new by Hamiltons in Melbourne. With large sunroof and power seats, it was a well-specified car. The service booklet shows Hamiltons serviced the car for several years.

In his 16 years of ownership the first owner added several upgrades to the car, including 18-inch Porsche Carrera alloy wheels, 993 brakes, uprated suspension with Koni adjustable shock absorbers, bigger sway bars and a front strut. Inside the car benefitted from a 911 Carrera leather 3-spoke steering wheel and a short shift kit.

The car moved to WA and remained with the next owner for fifteen years, the current owner buying it three years ago.

It’s always been maintained well and presents very nicely inside and out – still wearing its original, excellent paint. You can see from the photos, it’s a very good example.

The owner has used it for travel between Perth and his southwest property, and says it’s always performed well. It has covered 271,000km. Recent work has included new belts and hoses as well as work on the air conditioning.

This car is the late version with the 3-litre, 16-valve, dual-overhead cam engine, which has 155kW – 208 horsepower – giving excellent performance.

It’s an excellent example, with carefully selected (and reversible) upgrades, offering very good value.

1939 Buick Special Convertible – SOLD

A very rare car, being one of just 4089 produced in 1939, this Convertible features Buick’s famous straight eight engine, in 4.1-litre capacity.

An older, high quality restoration, the car presents very nicely inside and out, as well as in the engine compartment. The colour is Sequoia Cream, which goes well with the red wheels and wide white sidewall tyres.

The interior is in notably good condition, with separate seat-backs and the soft top is also excellent. The car features many Art Deco inspired styling motifs inside and out, while the dashboard is finished in a rich faux wood finish.

The car has recently been recommissioned, having been a part of a large collection and prior to that was in a Buick museum. It starts easily and runs beautifully. From the prestigious marque of Buick, this car is on the open market for the first time in decades and offers a rare opportunity…
