1987 Mercedes-Benz 420SEL – SOLD

The Mercedes W126 S-Class was a high point of quality – which came at a price. This 420SEL, was delivered new in Perth and cost the buyer $162,600. Equipped with a 4.2-litte V8 engine, leather upholstery, steel sunroof, power seats and much more, it was a well-equipped car.

A previous owner fitted a set of 17-inch AMG Monoblock style alloy wheels. It wears Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

The present owner bought the car in 2019 and has had work done to it by a specialist company and has also fitted a very much upgraded sound system at a cost of $4500.

Inside and out the car presents very well, and has covered a mileage of 176,000km – quite low for this model. It drives very smoothly and has a sports exhaust accentuating the V8, but without being obnoxiously loud. The owner advises that everything works.

It is very realistically priced – and includes desirable plates XMB 420 for a WA buyer.
