Based on a 1976 Lancia Scorpion Montecarlo which the owner imported from the USA 20 years ago, this 037 replica has made an excellent entry in historic motorsport events.

Using a comprehensive 037 body kit imported for the project, the owner – who has decades of experience and success in preparing competition cars – developed the car to be a reliable and well finished car.

Koni adjustable suspension is fitted. The brakes have been upgraded with Brembo fronts and RX7 front brakes on the rear which give excellent performance and balance. Large wheels and tyres will the extended guards. And the dramatic looking colour scheme makes the car stand out.

The car uses the standard mid-mounted 1800cc twin-cam motor and 5-speed gearbox. He had plans to supercharge the motor and has two superchargers which will go with the car. There’s plenty of space in the engine bay for such an installation.

The car is not registered as the owner had no intention to do so, however he does have the import approval papers should a new owner wish to go down that path.
