2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 – SOLD

With a twin-turbocharged 4-litre motor producing 373kW (500 horsepower), V8 Continental GT is capable of proper supercar performance – it’s good for 308km/h (192mph), all in supreme comfort.

This is a particularly pristine example. A New Zealand-delivered car, the car was delivered new by Bentley Auckland before coming to Australia.

Finished in unblemished Thunder metallic paintwork, the car present beautifully. It sits on optional silver-finished 6-spoke, painted finish, diamond-turned alloy wheels of 21-inch diameter.

Inside, the polished woodwork in the V8 is a special Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus, unique to the model. The upholstery is Beluga finish leather, which complements the exterior colour very nicely and has optional perforated centre panels to the seats (to go with the optional seat ventilation and heating) and was specified with subtle contrast stitching. The Continental GT was a very highly specified car in any case, with items such as soft-close door shutting, parking sensors, keyless entry and start and the signature Breitling clock making the pleasure of using the car greater than most.

Convenience options include a rear view camera, TV Tuner and adaptive cruise control. Additional options this car was specified with include power boot opening and warning triangle, space saver spare wheel as well as massage function in the front seats.

Today, the car has covered just over 49,300km and to all intents and purposes, presents as well as an almost new car might. The owner has recently had the car serviced, has fitted a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres and has ‘babied’ the Bentley as a weekend cruise car. Thinning down his car collection has precipitated the sale.

It drives beautifully – the twin-turbo engine and 8-speed automatic transmission offering silky smooth, easy performance in a very cossetting environment. This car is sure to provide immense pleasure to its next owner – and tremendous value.
