A super stylish, luxurious icon of the mid-’50s, the top-of-the-line Roadmaster featured new pillarless hardtop bodywork, a powerful 5.3-litre ‘Fireball’ V8 engine, Dynaflow automatic transmission, power windows and much more.
This example has been a part of two major collections since arriving in WA some 40 years ago from Victoria and has been converted to right hand drive.
It has recently been recommissioned with work to several areas and starts easily and runs as smooth as silk.
A big 6-seater cruiser, this model was never offered in Australia and is a rare, desirable example of an upmarket American car from the era where more was better.
