A late version of the classic R107 series, this car presents as one of the most immaculate examples you’ll ever see. Delivered new in the UK, it soon moved to Thailand, after which its Australian owners brought it home.

With a fuel-injected 6-cylinder motor, the car was highly-specified new, and has Bundt alloy wheels, front spoiler, full wood interior (not just the console), air conditioning, etc.

Before arriving in Australia, the owners had chauffeur-driven cars so the cherished SL saw little use. By the end of 2008 it had done just 9755 miles. They kept it until 2009 when it was sold to a well-known Melbourne collector.

The present owner bought the car in 2015 and today, it’s covered just 70,000km, verifiable by the details in two full files of the car’s history. He’s added a reversing camera and satnav (screens hidden in the glovebox) and a rear seat.

The car is in immaculate condition throughout and drives beautifully. It’s genuinely a rare opportunity to get a pristine R107 – and at a reasonable price.
