This car was privately imported from Hong Kong several years ago by the past President of the Mercedes-Benz Car Club. He sold it to the current owner some 9 years ago, but he’s made little use of the car.

It is in need of some love… The roof doesn’t work (though the fabric is intact), the paint on the bonnet needs re-doing and the rest needs polishing, there’s a problem with the instrument cluster – and another cluster goes with the car. The owner advises that sometimes the windows don’t work.

However, the car starts instantly and runs well and the odometer shows a mileage of just 66,000km. The car is fully registered.

The SL is complete, straight and sound. It wears AMG 3-piece alloy wheels. But it needs someone to give it the attention it deserves…

The owner is very realistic and ‘motivated to sell’, hence the asking price is just $15,000 ono. An excellent project for someone with some skills and the desire for a stylish Mercedes Sports…
